Ad Agency Combines Internet Savvy With Good Old Fashioned Service
New agency ensures satisfaction while fitting comfortably in tight budgets
PETERBOROUGH, ONTARIO Sept. 7, 2001 - Entrepreneurs beware! A copywriting crusader is out in force on the net, looking for YOU! No longer will the small business owner be left out in the cold! Had it with high prices? Irked by impersonality? Don't crumple that creation - help is on the way!
"Developing my business plan meant checking out the other ad agencies. When I saw how much they were charging, I could hardly believe it" says Elizabeth Piotrowski, sole proprietor of Strategy Ad Service and winner of the 2001 Golden Web Award. She says that a $70 hourly fee may be affordable for those with a large advertising budget, but that this amount "makes professionally written ad copy a distant dream for the small business owner".
During her research, she says she also noticed a trend among many ad agencies: bundling. "A lot of companies offer packages, which included services such as total web design, ISP, and ad submission. This is the ultimate in convenience if you require all of these services and can afford them. But what if you are working from one room in your home and have a small advertising budget? I thought it was time to get back to basics."
Elizabeth's goal is to reach out to those small business owners who are trying to put themselves 'on the map'. She says SOHOs (small office, home office) are looking for small town simplicity and want to be treated like individuals. "There are no 'canned responses' at Strategy Ad Service;" says the 2001 Poet of the Year nominee. "Each client is handled individually and emailed directly." Elizabeth's clients enjoy a variety of choices when they choose to have their ads written by Strategy. Communication can be done via email, web or voice chat. "If I do not have their favourite chat client, I encourage them to send me the download link for theirs. That way I know they are comfortable with the program, and therefore better able to relax during the session."
Elizabeth is a two-time published poet. Her work can be found in "Chorus of the Soul", a poetry compilation volume by the International Library of Poetry. A second poem appears in another ILP publication entitled "Divining Beauty", released in winter 2001. ###
